This is a print of The Fifth Orbit that I did on a 18” round 1 inch thick edge glued pine. I did a light stain over it. Mixed four drops of a light orange with a clear stain which makes the wood grain a little more pronounced. It really doesn’t look orange it really makes the wood grain pop. I have had some people add lazy Susan hardware to the bottom and have it on their kitchen table.

How I made this one.

I took a picture of my original wood burned mandala. I adjusted the noise, saturation etc. in procreate and illustrator. I then sized the burn in my CNC software Vcarve, had it centered and voila! When I made this original it took me about 26 hours to burn by hand. To do this print it was able to have it done in under 3 hours.
